Naxos, our way

Naxos is big enough to fill a week without repeating yourself. Long sandy beaches on the west coast, marble villages in the mountains and a lively main town around the old Venetian castle.

It's one of our favourite islands for remote workers: a real year-round town, good connectivity in Chora and a slower rhythm than its famous neighbours.

Don't miss

  1. Mountain villages

Halki and Apiranthos for kitron liqueur and marble lanes.

  2. The Portara at sunset

The great marble doorway on the edge of the harbour.

  3. West-coast beaches

Plaka and Agios Prokopios: long, sandy and calm.
